We have also talked about large lighting brands specialized in rustic style. In this post we will talk a little more about this style in general and try to give you some idea that can help you choose the lighting that you like the most.

The lighting of rustic style as its name indicates is inspired and reminds us a lot of the alcampo. It is a country style but we can not only apply it to houses located in the middle of the mountain with an orchard (not all of us are lucky enough to have a cottage in the country).

But if you like the rustic style there are many decoration options that can be applied to any space , even in our small apartment in the center of the city. We just have to find the furniture we like and combine it with the perfect lighting. On the first impression the rustic style is cozy , it personally reminds me of a quiet day at home, a morning walk, a meal with friends and family or a relaxed afternoon in the lounge.

The predominant colors in this style are earth colors, browns, woods, aged whites, but a touch of animated color, such as reds, oranges, blues, etc., always goes well. (For likes there are the colors). Something very characteristic of this style are the walls of brick or natural stone , the wooden beams and the furniture or doors pickling.

It is also true that currently the rustic style is very influenced by the Nordic style, it does not surprise us since it is a very strong trend and they fit perfectly, adding furniture and textiles also in white. The mixture or influence of styles is very common and clearly seen in the lighting. The most characteristics that we can find are the lamps of forge, or wood, with aged look, lanterns, with simile of candles, floor lamps, wall lamps, etc.

Although according to decorate the room or environment, many of these lamps will also fit in the Retro Vintage style , after all many of these houses are decorated with antique lamps. Also in the lighting we find many Nordic lighting trends such as hanging lamps with metallic screens in all aged metal or white. Lamps that is especially good in kitchens and dining rooms.
