Workbench vise – A screw press or bench is a tool used to hold objects or press to paste them or work them with other tools. The screws usually have a fixed jaw and a mobile, which moves towards or direction opposite the other jaw using a pin. A vise is simply a screw which is fixed to a table or bench work for a more stable surface so they can be operated with one hand. Usually they made of metal and are very heavy and expensive. The following guide will allow you to make a rudimentary bench screw with some wooden boards and small presses.

Workbench vise place the table on the edge of the table or bench so that the 18-inch side facing the edge and about 2 or 3 inches (5 to 7.5 cm) of Table hang over edge of table or Bank. Press the table to a table or bench press 1 or 2 inches (2.5 to 5 cm) from each edge of the table. Make sure the table is firmly attached to the table or edge.
